The Giant Race Returns to San Francisco for the 15th Year

San Francisco, CA – The Giant Race, presented by Alaska Airlines, makes it’s annual return to San Francisco on Sunday, August 18 and marks the event’s 15th year. To celebrate the monumental anniversary, the Giant Race announced the return of the highly-requested Half Marathon route which boasts the best views of the San Francisco Bay. In addition to the Half Marathon, the race will also feature 5K and 10K routes as well as a virtual option for those who cannot participate in person. All contestants will receive an exclusive bobblehead, finishers medal, race shirt and commemorative race bib.

To highlight the race’s continued focus and commitment to both mental and physical health, the annual Health and Wellness Expo will take place the day before the race on Saturday, August 17. The Expo will include an extensive range of fitness activities for all attendees, including an assortment of fitness vendor offerings as well as a Family Challenge and Kids Race on the field at Oracle Park.
